Idaho Mennonite Relief Sale in Nampa April 11th and 12th

New Store Hours

Dunia is open again, 7 days a week! Monday thru Sat 10-6 and Sunday 11-5. Thanks for a great first quarter in 2014. As we gear up for the annual Mennonite Relief Sale at NNU in Nampa, Idaho, April 11th and 12th, watch for new items arriving at the store weekly. Come in for a sample of Chukar Cherries from Washington State. They are premium dried cherries covered in milk or dark chocolate or cocoa. This coming week we'll unveil their delectable honey pecan.

Hand blown glass from the West Bank

Phoenician glass Named for its location, Hebron Glass is located in the historic West Bank city of Hebron, well-known for its traditional glass-blowing. Hebron Glass operates three main workshops in Hebron, in addition to artisans who work in their own homes. Some artisans, women and men, work with Hebron Glass, earning excellent income and benefiting from safe working environments. Established in 1920, Hebron Glass is a family business that has expanded over the years and is now exporting traditional glassware and ceramics products. One of the aims of the group is to build lasting relationships with fair trade associations. Hebron Glass aims to keep their artisans busy throughout the year, despite the challenges of occupation and war, and the competition from China. All tabletop items created by Hebron Glass are lead-free and safe to use. Ten Thousand Villages introduced its first products from Hebron Glass in 2009.
