Fair Trade Oriental Rug Event Returns to Boise!

Dunia Marketplace's Fair Trade Oriental Rug Event returns to Boise with over 300 adult-made, heirloom quality, hand-knotted rugs for sale. From 2'x3' to 10'x14', Persian and Tribal, you will find the quality you desire and the fairness artisans deserve. The event runs May 8-11, Thurs-Sat 10-8, and Sunday 10-2 in Lindsay Hall at First Presbyterian Church of Boise, 950 West State St.  Thursday night, May 8th at 7pm, join us for a special evening to learn how our rugs are made. Learn why fair trade makes a difference both in rug quality and in the artisans' lives. We are also raffling off a beautiful Beljik rug valued at $450. Raffle tickets are just $5 and the winning ticket will be drawn Saturday, May 10th, International Fair Trade Day, at the rug event. You need not be present to win. Idaho Mennonite Relief Sale in Nampa April 11th and 12th

New Store Hours

Dunia is open again, 7 days a week! Monday thru Sat 10-6 and Sunday 11-5. Thanks for a great first quarter in 2014. As we gear up for the annual Mennonite Relief Sale at NNU in Nampa, Idaho, April 11th and 12th, watch for new items arriving at the store weekly. Come in for a sample of Chukar Cherries from Washington State. They are premium dried cherries covered in milk or dark chocolate or cocoa. This coming week we'll unveil their delectable honey pecan.
