Hello friends! After several months of searching, we are happy to announce that we have finally found a new location!  We looked at many possibilities, both for a solo location or a shared space.  And while there are a lot of available properties out there, none were quite the right fit.  Until we came across this one at 1718 W Main Street in West Downtown Boise.

This spot is not far from our original location in an area with a lot of potential. It’s in the former Creamer Heating / Rock Hard Granite building, just a couple of blocks from the Linen District.

We have moved in and are hard at work painting, cleaning and making the space our own.  It’s very different from the Hyde Park shop, but we knew it would be.  We are so excited for this next incarnation of Dunia Marketplace, what we call Dunia 2.0.

We are hopeful for a soft opening within the next couple of weeks and a grand opening soon after!  We will send out a notice when those dates are confirmed.  In the meantime, you can still shop online or email us with you shopping requests.

Thank you so much for your continued support and good thoughts.  It’s happening!  We look forward to seeing you soon!

Dunia Marketplace, is Idaho’s only fair trade non-profit. We were founded in 1995 by members of Hyde Park Mennonite Fellowship. It has a board, staff, and volunteers from a variety of backgrounds and faiths.   Our mission is to provide a vital, fair income to artisans by selling their handicrafts and sharing their stories.  We do this by selling fair trade goods and supporting other local non-profits with an aligned purpose.  The shop carries handicrafts, food, and spices from 82 countries, states, and Tribes.
