What is Fair Trade?

Fair trade improves families and communities by offering better wages, decent working conditions, and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world.

Dunia is a beautiful word describing "world " and "life" in multiple world languages. An appropriate description of our non-profit fair trade store, as each purchase creates a world of opportunity!

How about some unique handmade gifts this Christmas?

We are ready for the Holiday's!
Stop in soon to see all of the new hand crafted gifts, including beautiful HOLIDAY items.
The artisan's have outdone themselves this year!

"Dunia" means the "World" (literally!)

Fair Trade is Community - Dunia Marketplace is grateful for the many connections we have made this year.  One way we like to express gratitude is by hosting "Community Shopping events.'' At these fundraising events, which are also open to the public, the store stays open 3 hours later for shopping and community. We shop, roast marshmallows, eat snacks, and drink hot beverages ... to create a joyful night!.

We then donate 15% of the evening sales back to the participating non-profit, group, or organization. A great way to support 2 organizations, and do a bit of fair trade holiday shopping!
Culture * Connection * Community
