“Savor the World”
Saturday, March 2, 7-10 pm
Savor the World will be an event to remember for Treasure Valley foodies and fair trade enthusiasts. Guests will taste sweet and savory delights from around the world, and enjoy local beer and wine in a Usful Glassworks up-cycled glass to keep. A fundraiser for fair-trade store Dunia Marketplace (1609 N. 13th) , it will feature world music and a silent auction. Tickets are $39—representing the 39 countries where products are sourced.

Dunia Marketplace (formerly Ten Thousand Villages) is Idaho’s non-profit fair trade store. Dunia Marketplace works diligently to educate and spread awareness of the importance of Fair Trade Fair Trade adult workers earn a living wage, have decent working conditions, and dedicate a majority of their earnings to educate their children. Locally, Dunia Marketplace provides an outlet for non-profit groups and refugees to sell their hand made items.
