AnnaSpring is a busy time at Dunia Marketplace! In addition to again being open 7 days a week, we will take fair trade into our communities. April 11-12 we will be in Nampa at the Idaho Mennonite Relief Sale at College Church (next to NNU.) For a schedule of events go to idahomrs.org. April 19th 4-10pm we will be sharing space with Artisans 4 Hope at the Idaho Green Festival downtown at 8th and Bannock greenworksidaho.org/greenfest/ and www.artisans4hope.org. And May 8-11, we will be holding our annual Oriental Rug Event at First Presbyterian Church in Boise at State and 9th, rugs.tenthousandvillages.com
To celebrate Fair Trade Day, May 10th, we are raffling off a fine hand-knotted beljik rug. Raffle tickets are $5 a piece and can be purchased at the store, at any of the off-sites or from volunteers and board members. The drawing will take place at the rug event May 10th 6pm. You need not be present to win.
The store is filled with beautiful new spring items as well as our perennial favorites. All food items are 10% off for the month of April.
